Jimmy Rollins' $11 million option for 2015 will vest with two more plate appearances. The only thing that would potentially keep the option from being guaranteed would be Rollins ending the season on the disabled list, but even then the option will kick in if a doctor deems him ready for Opening Day 2015. Rollins, 35, is having a solid season, batting .243/.326/.398 with 13 homers, 45 RBI and 19 stolen bases. The veteran shortstop has 10-and-5 no-trade rights but indicated last month that he could be willing to waive them should the Phillies have a firesale.
