Jhoulys Chacin was diagnosed with left oblique stiffness. He will be re-evaluated on Saturday, but a trip to the disabled list wouldn't be a surprise with an oblique injury. Chacin was working on his finest outing of the season before the injury occurred, striking out five over 6 1/3 scoreless innings while allowing just three hits and a walk. He has a 1.46 ERA through four starts this year.
