Jeremy Hellickson allowed one run on six hits over 4 1/3 innings in his return to the mound against the Royals on Tuesday. Making his season debut, Hellickson threw 84 pitches before giving way to the bullpen. The right-hander walked one and struck out two in the outing. Hellickson may get in one more start before the All-Star break -- he'd be on regular rest if he pitched Sunday, but the Rays won't need him until after the break -- but he should be a mainstay in the rotation in the second half either way.
