Jeremy Guthrie was shelled for six earned runs in 2 2/3 innings Saturday in a no-decision in Boston. The Royals wound up winning 10-9 in the 12th inning. Guthrie walked two and only struck out one batter, allowing seven hits and seven total runs on just 53 pitches. He carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning last time out against the White Sox but fell back to earth Saturday at Fenway Park. He has a 5.71 ERA on the season.
