Jeremy Guthrie turned in a rare quality start in Friday's loss to the Rangers, allowing three runs on six hits over his six-plus frames. Guthrie punched out four and walked two in the game. The Rangers scratched out single runs off him in the first and fourth innings. He then departed with a man on in the seventh, who eventually came around to score on Mitch Moreland's three-run bomb. He's now 3-12 on the season with a horrifying 6.56 ERA. He'll look to carry over the good from this outing when he battles the White Sox in Chicago on Wednesday.
