Jeremy Guthrie pitched well in a no-decision against the White Sox on Thursday, surrendering three runs (one earned) on eight hits over his six frames. Guthrie walked just one while punching out four on the night. The White Sox got on the board with an RBI single from A.J. Pierzynski in the first, and pushed across a pair of unearned runs in the second inning. Through 12 starts as a member of the Royals, he's been extremely impressive, compiling a 4-3 record, 3.00 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. He'll look to extend that recent run of success when he does battle against the Tigers in Detroit on Tuesday.
