Jeremy Guthrie gave up seven runs (six earned) over seven innings in Saturday's loss to the Angels. It was an odd outing for Guthrie, who fell behind in the fourth inning due to an error and an RBI ground out and didn't give up his first hit until Hank Conger connected for a solo homer in the sixth. Josh Hamilton launched a solo shot of his own one inning later while the Angels broke through with four runs in the eighth. After posting a 2.28 ERA over his first seven starts, Guthrie has a 7.91 ERA over his last three outings. He'll hope to turn things around next week against the Cardinals, but it isn't a promising matchup for fantasy purposes.
