Jeremy Guthrie allowed two earned runs in two innings Saturday in a Cactus League started against the Giants. Guthrie yielded four hits, but he issued no walks and tallied two strikeouts. The veteran right-hander signed a three-year, $25 million contract with the Royals this winter and will slot in behind James Shields this summer in the Kansas City starting rotation.
