Jeremy Affeldt (oblique) felt good after throwing his first bullpen session on Saturday and remains on track to rejoin the Giants bullpen soon. Affeldt has made significant improvements in recent days, and didn't feel any lingering soreness in his strained right oblique after throwing 30 pitches on Saturday. He should be cleared to return early next week.
