Jeremy Affeldt (groin) played light catch on Thursday. It's the first time he's thrown since landing on the disabled list last month with a strained groin. "It was just step and throw. I didn't really activate anything," Affeldt said. "We didn't try to test it. But it felt pretty good." Affeldt isn't expected back until September.
