Jered Weaver was removed Sunday night's game with a left elbow injury. Weaver may have hyperextended his elbow when he dove to avoid a line drive hit by Mitch Moreland. He was already at 98 pitches so he likely would have been coming out anyway. Weaver gave up four runs on seven hits over five innings, including a pair of home runs to Lance Berkman and David Murphy. His fastball has looked very hittable so far this season and he hasn't shown great velocity at any point since the start of the spring. The Angels should provide an update on his status after the game.
