Jered Weaver turned in his best start of the 2014 season, allowing just one run on three hits over six innings in Friday's victory over the Tigers. Weaver walked three and struck out three on the night. Even with his velocity down, he was able to keep Tigers hitters off-balance which led to weak contact throughout the game. He now sports a 4.76 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 20/10 K/BB ratio through 24 2/3 innings on the season. He'll look to replicate this outing when he does battle against the Nationals in Washington on Wednesday.
