Jered Weaver stifled the Rangers bats on Friday, allowing just two runs on five hits over seven innings en route to his league-leading 20th victory.

Weaver punched out five and walked two on the night. Nelson Cruz was single-handedly responsible for all of the damage against him, notching a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning and adding a solo shot in the seventh. He'll head into his final start of the season against the Mariners in Seattle on Wednesday with a 20-4 record, 2.73 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 141/43 K/BB ratio in 187 2/3 innings.
