Jered Weaver (shoulder) won't pitch this weekend. An MRI taken Wednesday on Weaver's right shoulder showed only tendinitis, but the Angels don't want to put him on the mound while he's still experiencing soreness. He should be ready to rock again by early next week. The 29-year-old righty has posted a 2.86 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 121/38 K/BB ratio in 160 1/3 innings this season.
