Jered Weaver posted his fifth consecutive quality start, giving up three runs in Tuesday's 6-4 victory over the Mariners. The right-hander struck out five and walked one. Weaver has struck out at least five in six straight outings. This was the first time since Weaver's 0-2, 5.79 ERA start that he's given up three runs in an outing. The pleasant fantasy surprise is 6-3 with a 2.99 ERA and 1.05 WHIP. Weaver gets the A's on the road Sunday.
