Jered Weaver permitted two runs on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings in Tuesday's victory over the Indians. The veteran struck out six, walked one and hit the showers early at 90 pitches. He was dancing around all those hits until Carlos Santana's two-run homer in the sixth summoned Michael Kohn to the mound pronto. Weaver evens his record to 2-2 to go with a tidy 4.00 ERA. He'll toe the rubber in Los Angeles against the Yankees on Monday.
