Jered Weaver has returned to California to have his right shoulder examined. Weaver continues to feel some discomfort in his right shoulder after he was hit by a comebacker during Sunday's start against the Mariners. He has yet to undergo an MRI, but that could happen now. He will likely miss this weekend's series against the Tigers.
