Jered Weaver gave up three runs -- one earned -- in six innings Tuesday in a no-decision against the Cubs. An Alberto Callaspo error opened up the two-run third inning, which probably cost Weaver a chance at a win tonight. He was effective, though, striking out five and walking one. He allowed only one extra-base hit, that a double to Alfonso Soriano. Weaver has allowed just two earned runs in 12 innings since returning from his broken left elbow.
