Jered Weaver (forearm) was scratched from Friday's scheduled start against the Mariners for precautionary reasons. The Angels don't want to take any chances at this point of the season, but he's only expected to miss one turn and pitch next Wednesday. Weaver has a 3.36 ERA and 115/36 K/BB ratio over 147 1/3 innings this season.
