Jered Weaver bounced back from his worst start of the season in Wednesday's 7-3 win in Boston, allowing two runs on seven hits in seven innings of work. Weaver struck out five and walked only one as he improved to 16-3. The 16-win campaign is the third of Weaver's career, while he's now just two off his career-best 18 victories from a season ago. The owner of a 2.74 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 113/33 K/BB ratio through 148 frames, he'll get the Red Sox again next Tuesday, this time at home.
