Jered Weaver baffled the Yankees in his best start of the young season, allowing just one run on six hits over eight innings in Monday's 4-1 triumph. Weaver whiffed seven and walked only one. Through his first three outings, the veteran scuffled to an 0-2 start with a 5.79 ERA. Since then, he's been dynamite, allowing only five runs in four subsequent starts. The right-hander, now 3-2 with a 3.48 ERA and 1.16 WHIP, hopes to carry tonight's stuff through customs for a matchup in Toronto this weekend.
