New York Mets starting pitcher Jerad Eickhoff has been recalled from Triple-A on Sunday. The Mets decided to go bullpen game on Sunday instead of starting Jacob deGrom before the All-Star break. Eickhoff tossed 2 2/3 innings, allowing six hits, two earned runs, and allowed two home runs. Possibly, this was a before the break type of move and Eickhoff goes right back down to the minors.
