Jemile Weeks played center field for the first time in his career this past Saturday at Triple-A Sacramento. The A's aren't fully committed to changing his position yet, but they're clearly open to experimenting. Weeks was drafted as a second baseman (12th overall) in 2008 and has only played second base at the major league level. He's batting .264/.382/.366 this year in Triple-A.
