Jemile Weeks hit his first big-league homer and scored three of Oakland's runs in a 4-3 win over Texas on Thursday. The A's managed to avoid what would have been a sweep at home. Weeks had a double, a single and a walk to go along with the homer. He's batting .329 with 13 runs scored in 18 games during September.
