Jeff Manship picked up his first win of the spring after allowing one run in five innings against the Astros on Thursday. Manship and David Buchanan both got starts in split-squad games today as they battle for the fifth spot in Philadelphia's rotation. Manship ended the day with the better line, though Buchanan had the tougher assignment versus the Blue Jays. Neither is any sort of ideal option for the Phillies while Cole Hamels is out, but Buchanan seems like the better choice.
