Jeff Manship allowed two runs and six hits over four innings Friday against the Pirates. Manship is one of the candidates to open the season in the Phillies' rotation with Cole Hamels out. He'd be a pretty awful bet as a starter, but he has succeeded this spring, posting a 2.45 ERA and a 9/1 K/BB ratio in 11 innings.
