Jeff Keppinger will have the walking boot from his right foot removed Tuesday. Keppinger is recovering from a broken right fibula that he suffered when he fell down a flight of stairs at his house last month, but doctors have told him that he should be ready for the start of spring training. While the 32-year-old is unlikely to repeat his .325/.367/.439 batting line from 2012 next season, he'll benefit from playing his home games at U.S. Cellular rather than The Trop.
