Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman (shoulder) was scratched on Sunday against the Angels as a precaution, but will still miss a start or two, according to Thomas Harding of MLB.com. Manager Bud Black confirmed that Hoffman will miss between seven and 10 days, which could be two Spring Training starts.
