Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman (shoulder) exited Wednesday's start with right shoulder soreness, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Hoffman called for a trainer in the second inning after allowing back-to-back walks to Trea Turner and Juan Soto on nine pitches, and he was then replaced by reliever Brad Brach.
