Jayson Nix is expected to be a part of the Yankees' roster for their ALDS series against the Orioles. Manager Joe Girardi hasn't announced the roster yet, but Andruw Jones, Casey McGehee and Chris Dickerson have already been told that they will not be a part of it. Unless they elect to carry Melky Mesa or a third catcher, Nix seems like the most logical option to claim the final bench spot.
