Javier Vazquez yielded two runs in five innings Thursday in a loss to the Phillies. Vazquez gave up eight hits and walked two in his five innings, so he had to pitch out of some jams to get away having allowing just two runs. Still, this one was a whole lot better than his last two starts. At least his ERA is back down under 7.00 again.
