Javier Vazquez was tagged for five runs in 4 1/3 innings by the Padres in a loss Thursday. Vazquez had put together a nice six-start string that lowered his ERA from 7.09 to 5.14, but while it may not have been a mirage, his stuff still isn't what it was a couple of years ago. He'll probably remain more bad than good going forward.
