Javier Vazquez held the Mets to just one run on six hits in seven innings on Monday, improving to 9-11 in Florida's 9-3 victory at home. He struck out seven and walked none. Vazquez has come on strong after getting off to a disastrous start this season, and is now 4-3 with a 2.89 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 67/13 K/BB ratio in 65 1/3 innings since the All-Star break. He'll get the Nationals in Washington on Friday.
