Jason Vargas tossed three scoreless innings during Thursday's 6-6 tie with the White Sox. Vargas has looked sharp to start the Cactus League with his new team. He has limited value in mixed leagues since he is average in so many ways, but he should be solid enough for the Royals in the middle of the rotation.
