Jason Vargas spun two hitless innings Monday against the Athletics. Vargas walked one batter and notched one strikeout. While the southpaw benefitted greatly during his time with the Mariners by making half of his starts at Safeco Field, he'll still be in a pretty favorable ballpark in Anaheim. We think he'll continue to be a solid matchup play in mixed fantasy leagues this year.
