Jason Vargas had a rough outing against the Padres on Sunday, allowing three runs on four hits in his five innings. Vargas did manage to strike out four on the afternoon while walking one. The veteran southpaw has been relatively solid this spring, posting a 2.57 ERA and 8/2 K/BB ratio in 14 innings.
