Jason Vargas (arm) will see the doctor on Tuesday in hopes of being cleared to throw off a mound that day or Wednesday. The goal is for him to rejoin the Angels' rotation two weeks after he begins throwing from the bump. Vargas has been sidelined since mid-June after having surgery to remove a blood clot from his left armpit.
