Jason Vargas (arm) is unlikely to return from the disabled list in July. Vargas has yet to resume throwing off a mound and is three weeks removed from surgery to remove a blood clot. MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez speculates that he could be ready to rejoin the Angels' rotation in early August.
