Jason Vargas allowed one run over 6 1/3 innings but settled for a no-decision against the Angels on Sunday. Vargas left with the lead but his bullpen was unable to hold on, depriving him of his fifth win of the season. Vargas allowed just three hits but his control left something to be desired -- his five walks were the most allowed in 11 starts this year. The left-hander also fanned six. He'll search for that fifth win Friday at the Blue Jays.
