Jason Vargas allowed just one run on three hits in 6 2/3 innings on Wednesday, but got stuck with a no-decision in Seattle's 2-1, 12-inning win over the Yankees. He struck out six and walked one. Vargas' only mistake of the night, allowing a solo home run to Nick Swisher in the seventh, got him yanked. His second straight quality start leaves him with a 6.03 ERA in 65 2/3 innings since the All-Star break.
