Jason Isringhausen notched his sixth save of the season Tuesday, striking out one during a scoreless ninth inning in a win over the Padres. Izzy has tossed scoreless innings each of the last two days -- picking up a win and a save -- after getting a six-day breather because he had given up six runs over his previous four appearances. Bobby Parnell could get the ball in a save situation Wednesday if Mets manager Terry Collins doesn't want his 38-year-old closer pitching three straight days. Isringhausen is two saves away from 300.
