Jason Isringhausen notched his 300th career save in New York's 5-4, 10-inning win in San Diego on Monday. In typical Isringhausen fashion, he allowed two baserunners before inducing a game-ending groundout from Logan Forsythe. Izzy is just the 23rd pitcher in baseball history to reach the 300-save plateau. Now that Isringhausen has reached his milestone, it's quite possible the Mets might finally start mixing in Bobby Parnell in the ninth inning.
