Jason Hammel was ejected from Saturday's game in the fourth inning for hitting Matt Tuiasosopo with a pitch in the shoulder. It was his first pitch after giving up back-to-back-to-back homers to Victor Martinez, Jhonny Peralta and Alex Avila, so it looked pretty bad. However, the pitch was also a slider, and if Hammel wanted to send a message, he's not going to do it with a breaking ball. It's hard to imagine a suspension will follow.
