Jason Hammel pitched well in a rehab appearance with High-A Frederick on Saturday, allowing just three hits and a walk over five scoreless innings. Hammel racked up seven strikeouts in the outing. The Orioles may be content to activate him after just one rehab start. A decision will be made by early next week.
