Jason Hammel looked sharp in his return from the DL on Thursday, allowing one run on six hits over five frames in a no-decision against the Yankees. Hammel punched out six while walking just two in the game. The only blemish on his evening was an RBI single by Curtis Granderson in the fourth inning. He had been sidelined since July 13 after having surgery on his knee. He'll take an impressive 8-6 record, 3.46 ERA and 112/41 K/BB ratio into Wednesday's home start against the Rays.
