Jason Hammel (knee) will start on Monday against the Yankees, Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Sunday. Hammel was scratched from his scheduled Thursday start against the Rangers, but his knee's prognosis has improved since then. The 29-year-old right-hander is off to a great start, with a stellar 4-1 record, 2.09 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 38/11 K/BB ratio across 38 2/3 innings this year. He's been one of baseball's most surprising players.
