Jason Hammel (knee) is currently throwing on flat ground from a distance of 120 feet. Hammel is currently working his way back from surgery in mid-July to remove a piece of loose cartilage from his right knee. Barring any setbacks, he should begin throwing from a mound next week and should be ready to rejoin the O's rotation in September.
