Jason Hammel gave up four runs in six innings against the Dodgers on Saturday as part of a no-decision. Hammel served up a three-run homer to Andre Ethier in the first inning and allowed a sacrifice fly by Mark Ellis in the second, but he settled down nicely from there and kept the Orioles in the ballgame. He threw a season-high 113 pitches while striking out five and issuing three walks. Hammel has completed six innings in all four of his starts, but he isn't missing as many bats as he did last year. It's something to monitor moving forward. He lines up to face the Athletics next Thursday in Oakland.
