Jason Hammel (forearm) will attempt to throw again on Friday. He felt some discomfort while attempting to throw on Tuesday. Hammel was placed on the disabled list last week with a right flexor mass strain in his forearm. He wouldn't commit to saying he'd be eligible to return when first eligible next week.
