Jason Hammel allowed four runs - all via solo home runs - on nine hits and two walks in 6 2/3 innings of Wednesday's loss to the Blue Jays. Hammel struck out five as he fell to 6-2. Edwin Encarnacion, Colby Rasmus, Brett Lawrie and Rajai Davis all took him deep. The non-quality start was Hammel's third in his past four outings, and leaves him with a 3.06 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 58/19 K/BB ratio through 61 2/3 frames. He'll get the Red Sox in Boston next week. Leave him benched for that one.
